This past June 30th many drivers en route north on I-95 in Miami opted to take the Sun Pass Express Lane and were charged $7.00. Many drivers complained that they were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic as if the had stayed on the free lanes. Was anyone at Sun Pass/DOT monitoring the situation? How could they even consider charging such a high rate especially with stand still traffic? In all fairness Sun Pass should automatically refund every single driver that entered the express lane during this peak time.
Thank you Michael Rosenberg for the picture.
